Jane Livingston, author and independent art historian, introduced Washington audiences to artist John Alexander in 1980. She returns to the city to discuss her latest exhibition of his often luminous and occasionally satirical paintings. Livingston is the guest curator of John Alexander: A Retrospective.

Chief Curator Eleanor Harvey leads a tour of some of the more unforgettable and gripping images in John Alexander: A Retrospective. Known for her knowledge of most things east-Texas, Harvey is sure to provide in-depth and entertaining commentary on this stroll through the exhibition gallery.
