Bummed
I'd like to post some of my NEW art here on the blog, but no matter how much I reduce the size, it is still viewed as too large- problem w/this yahoo blog right now. (I will need to upload to website...)
I'm preparing for a show at NIH- all works 16 x 20 or smaller- which will start early July. Artomatic is over- and Dave wasted no time in taking down our wall/s. I can say that the show was successful, and its always good to re-circulate within the DC art community- and participate with other artists (800 of them this time!)
I'm investigating a new studio space for myself. I've 'put out feelers' and please, if anyone has suggestions, please send them my way. wolfhub@verizon.net or 301-585-5815.
Ideally, I would not have to travel far from Silver Spring (considering gas expense)
Hoping to stay current w/'the dc arts scene'....with some activity, where you do not have to be completely isolated.
also, preparing for the summer classes at an elem. school in Montgomery County. (the afternoon arts program which follows morning academic classes. It will be fun to be working again w/teaching artists- dancers, songwriters, visual artists, musicians. I'm collecting a large supply of toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls for paper mache marble mazes, and other constructions. Planning on introducing the students to civil engineering- building bridges, cityscapes, etc.
Well, back to work.
