Just four days until I travel to Southwestern VA. Dave will be here 'holding down the fort.' I've been madly working/working madly on my NEW cabinet door series. This is my graphic novel- mouse story, etc. chapters...but of course, its not done. anyway, i am planning to exhibit this at Artomatic 2009. I will share this w/the high school students in VA. They should find it interesting. Its truly a memoir. Anyway, of course, the final chapter, has not been written...
I'm pleased w/my choices in color. i have not been able to post photos on the blog, so, I can't do that right now.It will be about 16 cabinets; (two per page of writing/drawing- out of 8 pages) so, right now I'm on page 5 (or cabinets 8 & 9 i think. I'm wondering how i'm going to take all of my stuff to VA...including 20 - 25 artworks for an exhibit at the Alleghany Arts & Crafts Center.  Well, I just will.  (and all of the stuff for the 10 day residency...) Massive reorganization w/my car, etc etc.
